Biochemistry & Molecular Biology

The study of life is the study of chemical processes.

The mission of the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology major is to prepare students with both academic and technical skills for scientific research. The program will develop the student’s scientific thought and its implementation through application of knowledge through experimental design and the commonly used techniques in biochemistry and molecular biology.

“Without laboratories men of science are soldiers without arms.” – Louis Pasteur
