Schedule an on-campus visit with an Admissions Counselor to learn more about Quincy University and get all your questions answered! We can set up your individual visit to include:
- A campus tour
- Meeting with your Admissions Counselor and Student Financial Services staff
- Visiting with professors, current students, or coaches
- Sitting in on a class
Meetings can be scheduled at 10 am and 2 pm on the hour Monday through Friday. Saturday visits are available on the hour at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 and 4:00 pm. Two business days notice is required. Requests submitted after 4:30 pm on Friday or anytime on Saturday or Sunday will not be answered until the next business day. *This visit will count towards receiving the $500 Discovery Scholarship.
QU and You
Schedule a Zoom session with a Student Ambassador to hear what it’s like to be a QU Hawk! Meetings can be scheduled 9 am–7 pm Monday through Friday. One-week notice required.
Quincy’s Discovery Days are open houses scheduled during the fall and spring for prospective students. During these events, you and your family will join other prospective students for special programming and events geared toward giving you a firsthand look at life at Quincy. Private meetings with Admissions Counselors and Student Financial Services are available by request after each event. Requests for such meetings need to be made at time of registration.

School of Fine Arts and Communication Visit Day
All incoming students planning to major in music, music education, or communication and music production must successfully complete an audition before the music faculty to be accepted into the Music Program. Non-majors are welcome to participate in a variety of music ensembles pending successful auditions before the appropriate music faculty. Students in all fields of study are required to audition in order to be eligible for grant money.
All incoming students planning to major in communication: multi-media journalism, public relations and strategic communication, or sports communication must successfully complete the Showcase COM Workshop and interview to be considered for a communication scholarship.
All incoming students planning to major in art: Graphic Design & Studio Concentration, should have a portfolio review prior to the event to be considered for art scholarships. For more information on the art Scholarship competition visit www.quincy.edu/art
