Quincy, Ill. – Quincy University will host a Town & Gown Discussion open to the QU campus and larger Quincy community on Tuesday, March 29, from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. in the QU Hall of Fame Room. QU Board Chair Fr. Tom Nairn, Vice President of Mission and Ministry Fr. John Doctor and QU President Dr. Gervasi will lead the discussion.

Pope Francis has declared 2016 a “Jubilee Year of Mercy”. In honor of this jubilee, the discussion will be on the “Quality of Mercy”. Attendees will be invited to reflect and engage in discussions about mercy – whether philosophical, theological, literary, anecdotal or personal. Light refreshments will follow the session.
