“Bubble Girl”

Quincy University’s Gray Gallery, located in Brenner Library, will host the Outstanding Alumni Invitational exhibition featuring works by Lisa Nordman ’73 of Fenton, Mo. This exhibition will take place from September 16 through October 11, and feature photographs from Nordman’s 25-year career. This exhibit is free and open to the public.

Nordman opened her photography business in 1994, after photographing her children for several years.  She started out as a sports photographer and her business quickly grew. She began photographing weddings as well as infants, seniors and family portraits.

“Capturing the spirit, soul and love in a client is what photography is all about,” said Nordman. “Touching so many lives and giving memories that last a lifetime has been my greatest achievement as a photographer.”

Eventually, her sons and her husband John joined the business in different capacities.  Now in retirement, Nordman photographs things she loves and enjoys.
