Quincy University will host the sixth annual QU Alumni Day on February 15, in honor of the university’s first day of classes in February 1860. QU alumni are encouraged to wear a QU Alumni button and QU gear to work and attend the day’s events.

“I invite all QU alumni, no matter where you live, to wear a QU Alumni button or your favorite QU gear and take a picture of yourself to share on social media using #qualumniday,” said Maureen Kennedy, coordinator of alumni services. “I encourage all QU alumni in the Quincy region to join us for the day’s events as we celebrate their successes as graduates.”

Alumni are invited to enjoy lunch, courtesy of fellow alumnus Luis Barnes ’89, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the QU Cafeteria in the Student Union. Alumni can participate in an online scavenger hunt starting at 1 p.m. with the opportunity to win prizes.

Alumni get free admission to the women’s and men’s basketball games vs. University of Indianapolis. Alumni will enjoy a dessert bar and can be a part of a group picture during halftime of the men’s basketball game. Alumni who attend or participate in any event will receive a gift.

Basketball tickets will be available at the Alumni Lunch or the Office of Advancement in Francis Hall B37.
