Quincy University is offering Quincy Senior High School (QHS) students an opportunity to continue their studies during the Quincy Public Schools teachers strike. QHS students are invited to audit QU courses during the strike period and experience college life by taking a tour of campus. Students who attend a course will also be given a voucher to enjoy lunch in the cafeteria and a one-day pass to the university’s health and fitness center.

QU professors are happy to offer this opportunity for QHS students to get a first-hand look at what college level courses entail. Courses available for students to audit include accounting, symphonic band, jazz band, psychology, criminal justice, anatomy and physiology, biology and chemistry, art, sign language interpretation, western religion traditions, computer science, ethics and criminal punishment, public speaking and many more.

Space is limited and students will be accommodated on a first come, first serve basis. For more details or to sign up, please contact Tammy Duesterhaus at 217-228-5301.
