Quincy University Celebrates Franciscan Heritage Week

Quincy University will be celebrating Franciscan Heritage Week October 2nd – 9th with several activities designed to celebrate Quincy University’s Franciscan Heritage. The public is encouraged to join faculty, staff and at multiple events throughout the week hosted by QU Campus Ministry.

The schedule for Franciscan Heritage Week is as follows:

Sunday: (Oct. 2nd)
10:00 am & 6:00 pm – Opening Mass, QU Main Chapel
Monday: (Oct. 3rd)
7:00 pm – Transitus Prayer Service, QU Main Chapel
Tuesday: (Oct. 4th)
12:15 pm – Feast Day of St. Francis Heritage Mass, QU Main Chapel
Wednesday: (Oct. 5th)
9:00 am – 12:00 pm – QU Day of Service
1:00 – 5:00 pm – Adoration in QU Main Chapel
Thursday: (Oct. 6th)
9:00 – 5:00 pm – Day of Prayer, 7:00 pm – Holy Hour, QU Main Chapel
Friday: (Oct. 7th)
Day of Fellowship. This will include a Spaghetti Dinner for QU Students to attend at the Campus Ministry House on campus.
Saturday: (Oct 8th)
Day of Stewardship. Students are invited to go hiking at Siloam Springs State Park.
Sunday: (Oct. 9th)
10:00 am & 6:00 pm – Closing Mass, QU Main Chapel
