Quincy University is asking the community to participate in the annual QU Food Drive on Wednesday, October 6, in conjunction with QU’s Day of Service. QU students will be outside local grocery stores collecting nonperishable food items to support local food pantries in Quincy.

Nonperishable food items will be collected outside Hy-Vee, County Market, Save-A-Lot, and Walmart locations. Nonperishable items include:

  • Canned vegetables, meats, beans, and fruit
  • Box mixes such as pancake mix, muffin mix, and pudding mixes.
  • Pasta and pasta dinners, cereal, and powdered milk
  • Non-food items, including laundry soap, diapers, or toilet paper.
