The Quincy University Music Department will host its Hawk Express Jazz Band Fall Concert on Sunday, November 3, at 3 p.m. at the Connie Niemann Center for Music located at QU’s North Campus (17th and Seminary Rd). The concert is free and open to the public.

Under the direction of Christine Damm, D.M.A., assistant professor of music, the jazz band will perform a wide array of jazz tunes including Critical Mass, St. Louis Blues March, Jericho and Alamode.  Vocalists, Sam Dust will be featured with the band on the Frank Sinatra arrangement, Cheek to Cheek. Junior, Courtney Crane, will tap dance while the band performs the patriotic tune, American Patrol.
