Quincy University and members of the class of 1979, will host Illinois band, Rock of Ages, on Saturday, September 28, at 8:00 p.m., as part of the Homecoming Weekend activities. Take a walk down memory lane and enjoy music from a variety of decades and genres. From classic rock, disco and 80’s music to country and today’s hits this concert is sure to have something everyone can enjoy. General Admission tickets are $15 and VIP tickets are $25. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at https://www.quincy.edu/alumni/homecoming/. This event is open to the public.

Rock of Ages is from Decatur and has been playing together since 1998. The band has played all over Illinois at street festivals, state and county fairs, parks, wedding receptions, and corporate holiday parties. Band members include Jon Grubb – vocals, Andrea Pope – vocals, Katie Tippit – vocals and keyboard, Hugh Reeves – bass and vocals, Greg Cuttill – guitar, Chris Koch – guitar and Dave Morrow – drums.
