The Quincy University Music Department Hawk Express Jazz Band will perform a Christmas Concert on Tuesday, December 3, at 6:00 p.m. at the Quincy Mall. The concert is free and open to the public.

The jazz band will perform festive pieces with a jazzy twist as well as several standard jazz works including This Christmas, Santa Rocks the House, My Favorite Things and Sleigh Full of Saxes.  Vocalists, Joshua Crowl and Emily Cintron will join the band for the classic Christmas tune, Baby It’s Cold Outside.  Austin Kohlehepp will lend his voice for an arrangement of Let it Snow!  Let it Snow!  Let it Snow!

The band is under the direction of Christine Damm, D.M.A., assistant professor of music.
