Onsite and Online Professional Learning Courses are available! 

Onsite Professional Learning Courses  (Formerly called Graduate Credit Workshops).
Location for the in-person Onsite Courses in Summer 2020 is Noll Pavilion in Springfield, Illinois.
Registration for Onsite courses held at Noll Pavilion is limited to 21 students per course.
As of 5/19/2020, other Onsite Courses have been switched to an online format using a combination of Zoom and Google Classroom. The dates and times remain unchanged. The instructor has added this note for the online courses: These courses will be conducted via Zoom and Google Classroom. Obtain and read the book before the course date. On the date of the course, we will use a combination of Zoom and Google Classroom – you will need to be available via Zoom the date and times of the course. We will not be on Zoom the entire time, but we will still be maintaining 8 contact hours that day.

Onsite professional learning courses include seminar/classroom style courses and offer topics that are relevant for today’s educator. All onsite professional learning courses count for graduate credit.

Onsite professional learning courses are offered at Quincy University and other venues in Illinois and across the tri-state region. Location is listed with each onsite professional learning course on our website.

Grades are due from the instructors 3 weeks after the course date. Please allow 3 weeks after completion and material submission for grades to be posted.

Onsite Professional Learning Courses are $175 per credit hour.

Discounts are available when groups of 7 or more participants register together for the same course. For more information, contact the Professional Development Coordinator at least 8 days prior to the course date.

For onsite professional learning courses, a minimum of 5 paid registrants are needed by noon 7 days before the course date. If a course is canceled due to low enrollment, registrants will receive an email from the Professional Development Coordinator at least 5 days prior to the course date.

If a course is canceled by Quincy University’s PDE Office, the full tuition paid by students will be refunded. This refund does not include online payment convenience fees. If a student does not notify the Professional Development Coordinator of his/her intent not to attend an onsite professional learning course by noon 7 days before the course date, there will be no tuition refund.
