As part of our effort to establish a dynamic Electrical Engineering curriculum, we are seeking an individual who will play a critical role in the furthering development and delivery of the new bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineering. Our ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching, research, and mentoring in a close-knit academic environment.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Electrical Engineering faculty member to teach and develop undergraduate courses in electrical engineering. The candidate will contribute to the design of the curriculum, with courses in subjects such as circuits, signals and systems, digital logic, electromagnetics, electronics, and power systems. Additionally, the successful candidate will support the ABET accreditation process, participate in research, and provide mentorship to students, including supervising capstone projects. Required Qualifications:

Required:

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager of Alumni Relations to lead initiatives that foster meaningful relationships between the university and its alumni community. This individual will manage a comprehensive alumni engagement program, coordinate alumni events, and implement communication strategies to strengthen alumni loyalty and involvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Alumni Engagement Strategy: Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enhance alumni connections through personalized communication and targeted engagement programs.
- Event Management: Oversee the planning and execution of alumni events, including Homecoming and Regional Alumni Events, aligning with institutional goals and alumni interests.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the liaison to the National Alumni Board and external alumni committees (e.g., Sports Hall of Fame, Legal Hall of Fame), integrating their activities into the broader engagement strategy.
- Communication & Content: Craft and oversee alumni communications, including email campaigns, social media, podcasts, and digital content, to foster a sense of community and pride.
- Affinity & Networking Programs: Establish and direct alumni affinity programs (e.g., book clubs, service projects), facilitate career development initiatives (e.g., mentorship programs, career panels), and coordinate the Student Ambassador Program.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze alumni engagement metrics and event outcomes to inform decision-making and enhance program effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in alumni relations, fundraising, or a related field.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management systems.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Midwest.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience coordinating large-scale events and managing volunteer groups.
- Knowledge of best practices in alumni engagement and advancement.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.

Salary: $50,000 – $55,000

Bus Driver
Quincy University is seeking a responsible and experienced Bus Driver to join the Quincy University Athletics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for transporting our student-athletes, coaches, and staff to and from sporting events and activities in a timely and courteous manner.
Rate of Pay: $25.00
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a bus on assigned routes, adhering to traffic laws and university policies.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the bus, including helping with luggage and equipment.
- Ensure the comfort and safety of all passengers during transport.
- Communicate effectively with team coordinators, and other staff members.
- Handle emergencies and incidents calmly and efficiently, following established protocols.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior, reporting any issues to maintenance staff.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing passenger inquiries and concerns professionally.
Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a passenger endorsement.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a bus driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Graduate Assistant – Women’s Soccer
Quincy University, A NCAA Division II institution and member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference, invites applications for the position of Graduate Assistant-Women’s Soccer.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as a representative of the University, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with the members of the QU community and with the public.
- Assist the Head Coach with the training, coaching, scouting, and recruitment of student-athletes.
- Monitoring the academics of student-athletes.
- Work with student-athletes regarding team rules, regulations conduct, appearance, and behavior.
- Other duties assigned by the Head Coach or Director of Athletics.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Enrolled in Quincy University Master’s Program.
- Collegiate playing/coaching experience required with goalkeeper background preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work with diverse student populations.
- Flexible working hours (nights and weekends).
- Valid Driver’s License plus CPR and First Aid Certifications.
Salary: $6,000 Stipend per academic year
Graduate Tuition Waiver: Up to 15 credit hours for MBA (prerequisites included) or 16 credit hours for MSE and MEC.

Salary: $6,000 per academic year (August through May)
