QU History Department Symposium

Quincy University will host the History Department Symposium on Monday, November 4, at 6:00 p.m. in the Hall of Fame Room, located in the Health and Fitness Center (20th and Oak). This event is free and open to the public.
The Symposium will include a three-person panel discussion on “1969: The Year of Triumph, Division, and Change.” Justin P. Coffey, Ph.D., Mary Ann Klein, Ph.D., and Wendell Mauter Ph.D., will offer thoughts and reflections on the 50th anniversary of 1969.
“1969 was a year of crisis and change,” said Coffey. “Quincy University professors will discuss major events in that year and their lasting impact upon American state and society.”
