Troy Potts

Troy Potts enters his fifth season (2022-2023) as a part of the Men’s Basketball program. Potts was moved to a Graduate Assistant Coach position in May 2021, after serving as Student Director of Basketball Operations for three years prior.

In his first year as a Graduate Assistant, Potts assisted the Hawks in recording a 15-15 regular season record which was the most since the 2015-16 season. Potts also served as the Head Developmental Team coach.

During his time as Student Director of Basketball Operations, Potts assisted the coaching staff with practice planning, gear management, equipment organization, and travel itineraries. Potts played an integral part in the development of First-Team All GLVC selection Tanner Stuckman.

Potts is a Quincy native and graduate of Quincy Notre Dame high school. Potts was a part of the Varsity Boys Basketball team for 2 years, including a 28-3 record his Junior season.
