Students and faculty from the Quincy University Department of Music will take a study abroad to Germany and Austria
Students and faculty from the Quincy University Department of Music will take a study abroad trip to Germany and Austria May 15 – 22.
Nineteen students and three faculty will be participating. They will travel to Munich, Germany and to Salzburg and Vienna, Austria. They will visit musically significant sites including Mozart’s birthplace and residences, the Vienna Opera House, museums and castles.
To participate in this study abroad trip, students registered for the course and attended a class to learn about the culture, music history, and historical aspects of the places they will visit.
“I am excited for the opportunity to study abroad and see a different culture,” said Kassidy Venvertloh, QU senior. “I am looking forward to going to Vienna and Salzburg to visit the music sites and see firsthand all the places we have learned about.”
