The things that I have enjoyed most about QU have been Phi Sigma Sigma, the theatre department, and my professors.

Quincy University Clubs and Organizations

  • Aviation Club – To educate the public about the advantages of the aviation community
  • Brothers of Unity – Molding a generation of men into leaders of tomorrow based on brotherhood, education, and service
  • Campus Activities Board – Plans social, educational, and entertainment events for the campus community
  • Circle K – An international collegiate service organization that is a sponsored leadership program of Kiwanis International
  • Falcon – Campus Newspaper students use to communicate with the campus community
  • Fellowship of Christian Athletes – Combines people’s passion for sports with their passion for Christ and teach them that those two worlds do not have to be separate
  • Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) – is an organization that strives to provide support network to help students navigate issues about their sexuality in way that leads them towards a life of self-respect, personal integrity, and professional growth
  • Haiti Connection – To develop and continue relationships with communities in Haiti
  • Intramurals – Fun, recreational, social, competitive on-campus sports activities for students and staff
  • Minority Student Association – To enrich and promote cultural diversity within the Quincy University community
  • Peers 2 Peers – Raises awareness and educates students about making healthy choices
  • Portraits of a Lady – To provide a safe environment for the women of QU where they can develop faithful friends
  • QU Role-playing Games Club (RPG) – is dedicated to the play and promotion of role-playing style games on campus such as Dungeons and Dragons, Pathfinder, World of Darkness, or Star Wars d20. We find such games to be remarkably fun and love to gather as a group to play. The club welcomes all QU students, staff, or alumni to join in adventures of fantasy, sci-fi, contemporary, horror, or historical-fiction nature
  • Quincy University’s Student Interpreter’s Association – To prepare and inform students about Deaf culture, the Deaf community, and American Sign Language
  • St. Clare’s Living Community – A community of female students who elect to live together to support one another’s growth in the Catholic faith through prayer and fellowship
  • Student Alumni Association (SAA) – To establish, foster, and promote the development of beneficial relationships among the University’s students, alumni, staff, faculty, and the campus community. SAA also promotes the activities of the QU Alumni Association through its programs and services to create and instill the spirit of philanthropy and service to its students
  • Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) – Serves as a communications link between varsity athletes and the athletic administration, unity with athletes and teams, and to increase involvement and awareness of QU’s intercollegiate athletic programs
  • Student Government Association (SGA) – Self-governing representative body of all Quincy University students
  • Students for Life – To spread the pro-life mission to the Quincy community
  • Students for St. Jude- is a fundraising club similar to that of the national fundraising organization, Up Till Dawn, for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital

  • Alpha Omicron Pi International Women’s Fraternity – Epsilon Sigma Chapter
  • Delta Tau Delta International Fraternity – Iota Delta Chapter, Northern Division
  • National Panhellenic Association – Governing body of the two National Panhellenic Conference sororities
  • Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. – Gamma Eta Gamma Chapter
  • Phi Sigma Sigma International Women’s Fraternity – Iota Beta Chapter

Academic Clubs & Organizations

  • Bands – Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, Marching Band, and Pep Band are open to all students (not just music majors). Join as many as you like!
  • Chemistry Club – To help fellow chemistry majors (or anyone interested in the subject) meet other students with the same focus
  • Chi Sigma Iota – National Graduate Counseling Honor Society
  • Choirs – Concert and Chamber Choirs are open to all students (not just music majors)
  • Collegiate Entrepreneur Organization (CEO) – Promotes friendly relationships between students, faculty, staff, alumni, and business people in order to widen students’ visions of entrepreneurial opportunities and to assist one another in entrepreneurial ventures
  • Communication Club – Provides students the opportunity to strengthen their communication skills and abilities, while simultaneously enhancing the learning and civic environment of both the college and the community at large
  • Environmental Club – To raise awareness in conservation and protection of our ecosystems
  • Institute for Management Accountants (IMA) – Devoted to management accountants, financial managements and information management professionals
  • Kappa Delta Pi – To promote excellence in and recognize outstanding contributions to education
  • Kappa Kappa Psi – National honorary band fraternity dedicated to serving university bands
  • Lambda Pi Eta – recognizes outstanding achievement in the field of communication. Members are invited on the basis of academic qualifications.
  • Psychology – The mission of our organization is to promote interest in psychology in all students through events, discussions, and other opportunities
