QU Recognized As College of Distinction

Quincy University has been recognized as a 2017-2018 College of Distinction in both the Catholic and National categories by the Colleges of Distinction. QU was acknowledged for having engaged students, great teaching, a vibrant community and successful outcomes.

“Quincy University being named as both a 2017-18 College of Distinction and Catholic College of Distinction recipient is a high honor. These awards prove to prospective and current students, as well as alumni, just how prestigious our school’s curriculum truly is. QU produces top notch students due to our engaged faculty, hands-on learning experiences, and service-oriented community,” says Brittany Ellerman, director of admissions.

Colleges of Distinction is a publication that recognizes colleges who emphasize core competencies such as critical thinking, writing, oral communication, research and global perspectives. Out-of-classroom learning and intensive study abroad programs are also requirements for being considered for recognition.
