Quincy University’s Music Department Choirs will present their Holiday Choral Concert on November 20 at 7:30 pm in St. Francis Solanus Chapel in Francis Hall on QU’s main campus.

The concert will feature the QU Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Hawks of Harmony, and the QU Brass Ensemble for an evening of music in celebration of Thanksgiving, Advent and Christmas seasons.

The QU Holiday Choral Concert will include fanfares, Advent and Christmas carols, winter-themed pieces, as well as an African American spiritual and some vocal jazz. The choirs will perform under the direction of Jonathon Stewart, DMA, director of choral activities and associate professor of music. Laura Kammerer will be the accompanist.
