
QU HAWK EXPRESS JAZZ BAND TO PERFORM FALL JAZZ CONCERT
The Quincy University Hawk Express Jazz Band will perform its Fall Jazz Concert on Sunday, October 26 at 3:00 p.m. at the Connie Niemann Center for Music at QU’s North Campus, 17th & Seminary Road.
The jazz band will perform a wide array of jazz tunes including Cruisin’ for a Bluesin’, Emergency Stopping Only, Harlem Nocturne, The Way You Look Tonight, and Firestarter. Senior vocalist, John Beisner, will be featured on the tune Feeling Good.
The QU Hawk Express Jazz Band is under the direction of Christine Damm, DMA, dean of the school of fine arts and communication. The concert is free and open to the public.
