The Quincy University Music Department will host its Hawk Express Jazz Band Christmas Concert on December 2, at 5 p.m. in the Quincy University Cafeteria, 18th and Lind Street.

The band will perform festive pieces with a jazzy twist as well as several standard jazz works, including Fusion for the Holidays, Santa Rocks the House, And Kings Shall Swing, and a variety of other tunes. Vocalist, John Beisner, will be featured on You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch. The band is under the direction of Christine Damm, DMA, dean of School of Fine Arts and Communication.

The concert is free. An all-you-can-eat dinner buffet is available for purchase at the door.
