Mike is a 1980 graduate of the Missouri Institute of Technology with 37 years of experience in IT and Telecommunications. Throughout his career, he has worked in various engineering, sales, and marketing roles and has also been a serial entrepreneur. He joined QU in 2017 as the Director of IT Services and now serves as a Project Manager in a semi-retired capacity.

Mike holds two U.S. patents, an Extra Class Amateur Radio License from the FCC, and is a Fellow in the Radio Club of America. He is also a NAUI Scuba Instructor and holds an FAA Part 107 pilot’s license. As a volunteer, he flies search and rescue missions for the Adams County Emergency Management Agency.

Mike and his wife, Carol, live on a farm in Quincy. They have two grown sons and two grandsons. He enjoys being a grandfather, scuba diving, shooting sports as an instructor, ham radio operations, and creating stained glass windows.
