Fr. Robert Barko, O.F.M.

Fr. Bob Barko serves as an Assistant Professor of Theology and is the Director of Campus Ministry. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Quincy University.
Fr. Bob is a Franciscan Friar and is proud to be counted among those who founded this fine institution many decades ago. He is the father of two adult children and grandfather to three little ones. His career has spanned many years and has included several diverse disciplines, including business owner, chemist, law firm practice manager, architectural firm office administrator and piano instructor. These varied occupations have prepared him well for the work in which he engages as professor and minister. His goal is for each student to succeed, flourish and become solid members of society.
