Nora Baldner, Assistant Professor of Communication at Quincy University, believes journalism is necessary for a democracy to thrive and survive. Her program teaches students to hold the powerful accountable, seek the truth and report it fully, shine a light in dark places and give voice to the voiceless. Baldner guides students in their journeys to affect positive change through courses in reporting, research, and storytelling. QU Communication students work with professional equipment and in industry standard studios. The program emphasizes writing, podcasting, research, content creation and television performance.
