Before You Borrow
After scholarships, grants, federal student aid, and other resources have been applied, some students and families may have a remaining balance. Quincy University offers additional options that can help you develop a financial plan that works for you.
Payment Plans
Rather than paying the entire semester balance at once, eligible students and families may choose to spread their payments over several installments through Quincy University’s payment plan.
Quincy University partners with Transact to provide convenient payment plan options. Students can review available plans and enroll through My Student Account in the QU Student Portal. The first payment is due at the time of enrollment, and applicable enrollment fees may apply.

Private Education Loans
Private education loans may be an option for students and families who need additional financing after considering scholarships, grants, federal student loans, and other available resources.
Quincy University partners with ELMSelect, an online tool that provides families with unbiased lending information for students and families to compare private education loan options from participating lenders. Loan terms, interest rates, fees, eligibility requirements, repayment options, and borrower benefits vary by lender, so carefully review and compare your options before borrowing. Please know that while institutions may maintain a preferred lender list, federal law prohibits any financial aid counselor from recommending or preferencing any specific lender.
Compare Private Education Loans through ELMSelect.
Quincy University does not endorse any particular private lender. Students and families are free to select any lender of their choice, including lenders not listed through ELMSelect. Choosing a lender that is not listed will not affect the University’s processing of an eligible private education loan.
