Gary Meacher is an Associate Professor of Design at Quincy University. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design from Cleveland State University and his Master of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communication Design and Graduate Certificate in User Experience Design and Information Architecture from Kent State University.

As a visual communicator, Professor Meacher employs the use of design as a tool for solving problems. He manages a balance of analytical and creative skill sets. He enjoys critiquing and lecturing design, promoting its value, and championing the culture. Professor Meacher stresses the importance of creative problem solving and the design field’s ability to be a differentiator in a variety of settings—design can do almost anything.

As a design educator, he shares his passion for the field and fosters growth in the community. Professor Meacher embraces new technology and has an inherent curiosity that pushes him to continue to learn, research, and explore.
