Professor of Art Karl Warma MFA, has had a twenty year career at Quincy University; teaching
courses that include drawing, photography, graphic design, 2D design, animation, web design,
mixed media painting, art history and aesthetics. Professor Warma truly enjoys introducing
students to art, no matter the discipline, to light the fire of creativity in undergraduates.
Prior to coming to QU, Warma had over ten years in advertising and graphic design, and spent
four years in West Africa as a Peace Corp volunteer, setting up a book production unit in The
Gambia. Fun facts: Professor Warma’s birthday is the celebration of St. Francis and he is a
regularly performing musician.
