Gary Meacher is a visual communicator who uses design as a strategic tool for solving problems and meeting challenges—balancing analytical thinking with creative practice.

He has been a design practitioner since 2007, working with clients in a variety of sectors: academia, non-profits, charities, manufacturing, transportation, retail, entertainment, public servants, construction, gaming, tech, and more.

Professor Meacher’s teaching emphasizes critique, collaboration, service, and creative problem-solving while championing the value of design as a differentiator across disciplines. He teaches courses revolving around digital tools, web design, application design, motion graphics, user experience, packaging, signage, digital interfaces, branding, digital illustration, social media content creation, and more. With a strong focus on clarity and communication, he is driven by curiosity, attention to detail, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

Gary Meacher holds a Masters of Fine Arts Degree in Visual Communication & Design, Graduate Certificate in Information Architecture and Knowledge Management, and an undergraduate degree in Studio Art Graphic Design with a Minor in Marketing.
