Dr. Brady Young is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Quincy University. He completed his Ph.D in Pure Mathematics at the University of Rhode Island. Prior to this, he obtained an M.S. in Mathematics from the University of Rhode Island and a B.S. in Mathematics from Boston College (as well as a B.A. in Music).
He has extensive undergraduate educational experience, with a passion for the motivation and application of techniques found in the calculus sequence.
His research is in holomorphic dynamics, the area of math interested in explaining complicated fractal patterns such as the famous Mandelbrot Set. The major focus of his research is the structure of parameter spaces induced by critical orbit relations.
