Faith and ministry at Quincy University invites students to explore, grow, and connect in a supportive spiritual community rooted in Catholic and Franciscan values. Through worship, service, reflection, and meaningful relationships, students are encouraged to nurture their faith, deepen their sense of purpose, and engage fully in campus life. Open to all, QU offers opportunities to belong, serve, and discover how faith can shape both daily life and lifelong values.

Service Learning

At Quincy University, service-learning is a core part of our mission to educate the whole person and prepare students to lead lives of purpose and service. Through hands-on experiences integrated into academic coursework, students collaborate with non-profit organizations throughout the Tri-State Area to apply classroom learning to real-world challenges. These experiential opportunities enhance academic understanding, strengthen leadership skills, and foster civic responsibility, encouraging students to grow as servant leaders with a lasting commitment to the common good. Opportunities for Worship

St. Francis Solanus Chapel is the spiritual heart of Quincy University, offering a peaceful and inspiring space for worship, reflection, and community. Rooted in Franciscan tradition and enriched by beautiful mosaics and stained glass, the Chapel invites students, faculty, staff, and visitors to pause, pray, and connect—both spiritually and with one another. The Chapel offers daily mass, personal prayer and meditation times, and prayer materials (bibles, books, prayer cards, rosaries, reflections).
