Getting involved at Quincy University is one of the best ways to build friendships, explore interests, and make the most of your college experience. With more than 30 student organizations, opportunities in Greek life, music ensembles, and a wide range of intramural sports, there’s something for everyone. Whether you’re looking to lead, compete, serve, or simply have fun, Clubs and Activities help you connect, grow, and create lasting memories at QU.

Clubs, Organizations, and Intramurals

Academic Clubs and Organizations
  • Women in Law – Supports and empowers women interested in law through networking, discussions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Women in Business – Encourages women pursuing business careers by offering leadership development, networking, and skill-building experiences.
  • QU Entrepreneurship Club – Fosters creativity and innovation by helping students explore business ideas, startups, and entrepreneurial skills.
  • Pre-Professional Science Club – Provides resources, networking, and support for students pursuing careers in healthcare, research, or professional science programs.
  • Environmental Club – Promotes environmental awareness, sustainability initiatives, and eco-friendly practices on campus and in the community.
  • History Club – Brings together students who enjoy history through discussions, events, and exploration of historical topics and careers.
  • Chemistry Club – Supports chemistry students through academic enrichment, professional exploration, and hands-on science engagement.
  • Aviation Club – Connects students interested in aviation through networking, industry exploration, and aviation-related activities.
Campus Clubs and Organizations
  • Chess Club – Provides a space for students of all skill levels to play, learn, and enjoy the game of chess.
  • SOAR – (Invite Only) Supports student growth through leadership development, involvement, and peer connection opportunities.
  • NAMI on Campus – Raises awareness about mental health, reduces stigma, and promotes wellness through education and support.
  • Hawk-Games – Brings students together through tabletop and role-playing games, such as Dungeons & Dragons, fostering creativity, strategy, and community in a relaxed and inclusive environment.
  • International Student Club – Celebrates cultural diversity and supports international students through social, educational, and cultural programming.
  • Social Justice Club – Encourages dialogue, advocacy, and action around social justice issues affecting local and global communities.
  • Turning Point USA at Quincy University – Aims to educate students about fiscal responsibility, free markets, and constitutional rights through campus activities and discussions. We provide resources like activism pamphlets, videos, free speeches, and staff support to inspire leadership, spiritual growth, and intellectual development.
Faith Based Organizations
  • Fellowship of Christian Athletes – Provides students the opportunity to grow in their faith through fellowship, service, and sports-related outreach.
  • St. Clare Sisters – Offers spiritual support, mentorship, and opportunities for faith-based reflection and service
  • Campus Ministry – Supports students in their spiritual journeys through worship services, retreats, Bible Studies, and faith formation.
Fraternity & Sorority Life
  • Iota Phi Theta Fraternity Inc. – A historically Black fraternity focused on leadership, scholarship, service, and brotherhood.
  • Sigma Phi Eta – A women’s sorority that promotes interest in building female relationships that empower women to become the best versions of themselves academically, charitably, and personally.
  • Kappa Zeta Rho – Kappa Zeta Rho is a women’s sorority that stands for sisterhood, loyalty, academics, and community service.
Honors Societies
  • Psi Chi – The international honor society in psychology that promotes academic excellence and professional development.
  • Chi Sigma Iota – An international honor society for counseling students focused on scholarship, leadership, and service.
  • Lambda Pi Eta/Communication Club – Recognizes academic excellence in communication studies while offering professional and social opportunities.
  • Sigma Beta Delta – An international honor society recognizing excellence in business, management, and administration.
  • Kappa Delta Pi – An international honor society for education students committed to teaching excellence and leadership.
  • Alpha Psi Delta – A national honor society for students studying English, literature, and writing.
  • Alpha Phi Sigma/Criminal Justice Society – Serves as both a student organization and an honor society for students interested in criminal justice. The club is open to all students pursuing or considering a degree in criminal justice and offers academic enrichment, professional development, and networking opportunities. Students who meet the required academic criteria may be inducted into Alpha Phi Sigma, the national criminal justice honor society.
Music Ensembles

Music ensembles at Quincy University offer students the opportunity to perform, collaborate, and grow as musicians in a supportive and engaging environment. From bands and choirs to small ensembles and trios, all students of all majors are invited to participate.  Explore Music Ensembles.

Programming Boards/Leadership
  • Student Athlete Advisory Committee – Represents student-athletes and promotes leadership, community service, and communication between athletes and administration.
  • Student Government – Serves as the voice of the student body by advocating for student needs and helping shape campus life.
Intramurals

Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or just looking to try something new, QU’s intramural program is for you. You can choose from more than 20 intramural sports, like soccer, softball, volleyball, bowling, basketball, ping pong, darts, spikeball and more!

The Intramural program consists of competitive individual and team sports as well as other recreational activities. We have both league play and weekend tournaments. Whatever you choose, having fun is the goal.
