Full-Time, Tenure-Track Faculty Position in the Oakley School of Business

Opening: Quincy University, a Catholic liberal arts institution in the Franciscan tradition, invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in the Oakley School of Business.

Responsibilities: The primary teaching area is in the field of management at the undergraduate and graduate level and business analytics at the undergraduate level. Topics currently taught at the undergraduate level include strategic management, principles of management, introduction to business analytics, analytics communication and management and predictive analysis topics. Topics at the graduate level would include leadership.

Qualifications: Ph.D., D.B.A., or other terminal degree in Management with educational background or experience with business analytics. MBA or ABD status for undergraduate-level teaching.

Position Start Date: August 17, 2026

Position Salary Range: $60,000 – $75,000

Assistant Professor of Art (Visual)

Quincy University, a Catholic liberal arts institution in the Franciscan tradition, seeks applicants for a full-time, tenure track, 10-month faculty position in the School of Fine Arts & Communication. Core responsibilities include in-person teaching sections of drawing, painting and printmaking courses, and 2-D and/or 3-D design courses and courses in the successful candidate’s areas of expertise and interest. The standard teaching load is 4 courses each semester.

A productive program of research/creative activity in studio, as well as service to the department, School, campus and community are also expected. Other responsibilities include: student advising, assisting with curricular development, implementation, and program assessment, and participation in faculty governance activities and committee service. Interest in forwarding Quincy University’s Arts Management degree and participating in the new FYE program would be a plus.

Qualifications:

  • MFA in Studio Arts/ Printmaking or Painting
  • Teaching experience at the college level
  • Knowledge of traditional drawing, painting and printmaking techniques

Position Overview:

Quincy University, a Catholic liberal arts institution in the Franciscan tradition, seeks applicants for full-time, tenure-track faculty in Electrical Engineering. The Engineering Program at Quincy University, composed of bachelor’s programs in both Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, was launched in Fall 2024 and is on schedule for ABET accreditation in AY 2028-2029. New laboratory and teaching spaces have been constructed as part of a $4.2 million facilities remodeling project. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching, curriculum development, academic integrity, scholarly research, and mentoring students in a close-knit academic environment.

Individuals who have earned degrees or taught at Catholic institutions, or have other experiences of working with Catholic organizations recognized by the Church and aligning with Quincy University’s mission, are especially encouraged to apply. Responsibilities:

The successful candidate’s primary responsibilities will include teaching the equivalent of a 4:4 load of undergraduate courses and labs within the Electrical Engineering curriculum, such as digital logic, circuits, digital systems, analog systems, microprocessors, electricity and magnetism, signal processing, electromechanical control systems, and quantum mechanics, in addition to overseeing capstone design projects. Additional responsibilities will include developing new courses, engaging in scholarly research (ideally involving undergraduate students), advising, contributing to departmental and university service, and actively contributing to the ABET accreditation process.

Required Qualifications:

  • D. in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field from an ABET-accredited program
  • A demonstrated commitment to undergraduate teaching, advising, and mentoring
  • A proven track record of high-quality scholarly research, and a desire to involve undergraduates in research
  • A strong commitment to ethics and academic integrity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An appreciation for the merits of liberal arts education, including interdisciplinary approaches to teaching and learning
  • Familiarity with the ABET accreditation process and a commitment to participate therein

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior teaching experience as Instructor of Record at the undergraduate or graduate level
  • Prior research as part of a recognized, externally-funded research program
  • Prior experience working in industry or for a national lab
  • Current PE license
  • Prior experience and participation in the ABET accreditation process

Quincy University seeks an organized and professional Advancement Office Manager to provide executive-level administrative and operational support to the Vice President for Advancement and the Advancement team. This role ensures smooth office operations, supports fundraising and campaign activities, assists with gift processing, and manages donor communications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage calendars, meetings, travel, and office communications for the VP and Advancement team.
  • Prepare materials, agendas, and minutes for meetings and committees.
  • Process gifts, pledges, and donor communications with Advancement Services and Business Office.

Position Overview: The Assistant Football Coach – Defensive Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Head Coach with coaching duties and overseeing the overall operation of the football program.   • Assist with scheduling opponents to develop a competitive season schedule.
  • Comply with all policies, regulations, and rules of the NCAA, the conference, and Quincy University, including adherence to the Quincy University Code of Ethics for Coaches.
  • Assist in monitoring and enforcing student-athletes’ adherence to the Quincy University Code of Ethics for Student-Athletes.
  • Work closely with the Athletic Training staff to ensure the proper completion and submission of training room paperwork.
  • Assist in developing and overseeing the strength and conditioning program to enhance the physical development of student-athletes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.

Admission Counselor

Quincy University invites qualified applicants for a full-time Admission Counselor position.  Reporting to the Dean of Admission, the Admission Counselor plays an integral role in realizing the University’s overall enrollment goals through the recruitment of new students.  Ideal candidates will enjoy engaging with prospective students, articulating the relevance of a liberal arts and sciences education in a community grounded and informed by Franciscan values and the University’s Catholic heritage.  An Admission Counselor must speak persuasively to large and small groups, possess exceptional writing skills, work independently as well as collaboratively, self-motivate, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, travel frequently, and sometimes work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.  This position is classified as hourly and Admission Counselors may work more than forty hours per week in pursuit of the University’s enrollment goals.

  • Manage geographic territory – including visiting high schools, meeting with students and parents, articulating the benefits of a Quincy education, assisting students through the application and enrollment processes, and helping families with the application for financial assistance.
  • Use various communication channels to build relationships with students, parents, guidance counselors, and other influencers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain accurate data and reporting for assigned territory, including inquired, applied, admitted, and committed students.
  • Maintain the integrity of student data in CRM, and analyze student data to manage student recruitment within specific territory.

Qualifications:
