KELLER NAMED GLVC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL SCHOLAR ATHLETE OF THE YEAR
June 15- Quincy University graduate Jessica Keller has been named the 2008-09 Great Lakes Valley Conference Women's Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Keller, a four year member of the Lady Hawks, helped Quincy to a GLVC regular season championship this past season and was also named the GLVC Player of the Year while earning Academic All-American honors from ESPN the Magazine......more

HAWKS SIGN TWO LOCAL ATHLETES
June 12- The Quincy University men's golf program has recently signed two local athletes to join the team starting in the fall of 2009. Blake Gilbert, from Carthage, Ill., and Brent Williams, from LaPlata, Mo., recently signed a letter of intent to enroll and play golf at Quincy University. QUINCY PLACES 75 STUDENT ATHLETES ON GLVC ACADEMIC ALL-CONFERENCE TEAM
June 5- Quincy University has had 75 student athletes named to the 2008-09 Great Lakes Valley Conference Academic All-Conference team. This marks the third consecutive year the number of Quincy student athletes has increased. The Quincy baseball and women's soccer programs each placed 16 players on the team to lead all Quincy athletic programs. All 11 programs that compete in the GLVC placed at least one player on the Academic All-Conference team........more
BUNZELL NAMED DAKTRONICS ALL-AMERICAN
May 21- Quincy University pitcher Torie Bunzell has been named a 2009 Daktronics Softball All-American. Bunzell, a sophomore, was named honorable mention and becomes the first Lady Hawk player in school history to be named a NCAA Division II All-American.......more
