QU MUSIC DEPARTMENT TO HOST MUSIC VISIT DAY
The Quincy University Music Program will host a Music Visit Day on Monday, October 13, at the Connie Niemann Center for Music, 17th & Seminary Road.
This event is open to high school students and their families.
Students will have an opportunity to tour campus and meet faculty and current students. Students can choose to sit in on a rehearsal with the QU Band, Choir, and/or Jazz Band. Students will also have an opportunity to audition in person or virtually for a music scholarship.
“This event is a great way for students to experience music at the college level, talk with current QU students, and see the many scholarship opportunities available,” said Christine Damm, DMA, dean of fine arts and communication.
Music Visit Day is free and includes lunch.
