Quincy University’s Oakley School of Business hosted an award ceremony on April 24 in the Hall of Fame Room in the QU Health and Fitness Center.

Faculty in the Oakley School of Business presented awards and recognized students for their achievements this past academic year. The following awards were presented at the event.

SIGMA BETA DELTA HONOR SOCIETY

Nine business students and two faculty members from the Oakley School of Business were inducted into Quincy University’s Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society. Sigma Beta Delta recognizes outstanding academic achievement, specifically among juniors, seniors, and MBA students who rank in the top twenty percent of their classes.

Each year, seniors take the nation-wide Educational Testing Service (ETS) Business Major Field Test. This year, the award is presented to Quincy University’s three top-scoring students in recognition of their exceptional proficiency and achievement in the field.
