Kortarius D. Finley serves as the Director of Housing Operations at Quincy University, overseeing residential housing administration and supervising Resident Directors and Resident Assistants across the residence halls. In this role, he manages housing processes, collaborates with campus partners, and leads initiatives that promote student well-being, community engagement, and operational effectiveness within university housing. Kort also serves as the University Housing Liaison and assists students who may be dealing with homelessness.
A proud Quincy University alumnus, Kort began his journey at the institution in 2009 and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance in 2015. Prior to his current role, he spent three years with Quincy University Security, followed by three years of professional business experience with the Business Office. These roles provided a strong foundation in operations, communication, and problem-solving that he brings to his leadership in campus housing.
Beyond his administrative responsibilities, Kort is actively engaged in student mentorship and leadership development. He serves as advisor for both the Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. and the Black Student Union, supporting organizational growth, leadership development, and campus involvement.
