Investing in Illinois. Empowering Students.

Quincy University is proud to invest in the future of Illinois by making a private college education more affordable for eligible Illinois students. The QU Illinois Promise Program helps remove financial barriers for students with significant financial need, ensuring that a high-quality Quincy University education is within reach for working students and their families.

Through a combination of federal, state, and institutional grants and scholarships, the Illinois Promise Program covers 100% of tuition and required books for eligible Illinois residents pursuing undergraduate degrees. This program applies to new students admitted for the 2026–2027 academic year who complete the FAFSA and qualify for both the federal Pell Grant and the Illinois Monetary Assistance Program (MAP).

Not eligible for Pell or MAP grants? No worries. Quincy University offers generous merit scholarships and additional financial aid options that still make QU one of the best values in higher education.
