At Quincy University, faculty and staff work closely with every student to create an individualized plan for success. This prestigious competition awards scholarships of up to full tuition to outstanding students. Competing students must submit an essay using a prompt sent to you by your Admissions Counselor, as well as complete a video interview with the committee.
The Quincy University Presidential Scholarship Competition will be held on February 7, 2026. Recipients will be notified during the first week of June.
High School Seniors
Eligible high school seniors must:
- Have a minimum 3.4 GPA
- Earn an ACT score of 26 or higher or SAT score of 1230 or higher
- File the 2024–2025 FAFSA
- Be accepted to Quincy University by January 23, 2026
Transfer Students
Eligible transfer students must:
- Have a minimum cumulative college GPA of 3.5
- Complete at least 24 transferable credit hours
- File the 2024–2025 FAFSA
- Be accepted to Quincy University by April 15, 2026
- Submit an essay using a prompt provided by their Admissions Counselor
- Complete a video interview with the scholarship committee by May 15, 2026
