Program Overview

Students seeking a structured, interdisciplinary path to law school may pursue Quincy University’s Pre‑Law concentration. This program provides the academic foundation, preparation, and hands‑on experience that strengthen a student’s readiness for law school. It coordinates major courses and electives to create a consistent legal focus throughout a student’s undergraduate studies.

Law schools do not require applicants to major in any specific field. While QU’s Pre‑Law program is housed within the Political Science department, students from any major can successfully prepare for law school. Political Science, History, and Criminal Justice are among the most common choices for prospective law students, but the Pre‑Law concentration is compatible with any degree program. Although many concentration courses fall under Political Science, students across all disciplines are welcome.
