From classroom to career—and beyond.

The QUEST Center at Quincy University is the university’s hub for career development and experiential learning. It supports students as they move from college to career by offering guidance, resources, and hands-on opportunities that connect academic learning with real-world experience.

Through the QUEST Center, students receive help with career planning, résumés, interviews, and networking, while also gaining access to internships, practicums, and job opportunities. The center also coordinates experiential learning initiatives—such as service-learning, study abroad, undergraduate research, and credit for prior learning—in collaboration with faculty, staff, and community partners. Rooted in Quincy’s Franciscan tradition, the QUEST Center emphasizes reflection, relationships, and purposeful learning.

Employers

Quincy University students bring talent, dedication, and fresh perspectives to today’s workforce. We welcome employers who are interested in connecting with motivated students and building meaningful partnerships that support both student success and organizational growth. There are several ways to engage with Quincy University.

Handshake serves as the primary platform connecting employers with QU students and alumni across a wide range of academic backgrounds. Through internships, part-time roles, and full-time positions, employers can reach emerging professionals who are ready to learn and contribute. Employers may post opportunities directly in Handshake or email job descriptions and application instructions to Kristen Liesen.

Organizations are also invited to visit campus to recruit at a table, offering the opportunity to meet students, share career opportunities, and build relationships in person. Through career preparation experiences such as mock interviews, networking events, and etiquette dinners, Quincy University students are well prepared to engage professionally with employers.
