Entrepreneurship isn’t just for business majors. It’s a mindset any student can use to create opportunities and make an impact.”
Create. Compete. Innovate.
The Quincy University Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation supports students from every major through interdisciplinary programming that helps turn ideas into action. The Center also extends learning beyond campus by offering professional development, seminars, events, and courses for alumni and the local community.
A key part of the Center’s work is hosting business pitch competitions, where students present ideas, receive feedback, and grow through the challenge of competing. Students can also take new entrepreneurship courses and earn a minor in entrepreneurship—an option designed to complement any major and strengthen career readiness.
In 2025, the Center expanded into a dedicated physical space that strengthens collaboration and connection. The new location improves student and faculty proximity, adds meeting and teamwork resources, and includes a makerspace where students can prototype and create. Makerspace tools include 3D printing, a label heat press machine, a workbench with tools, and additional hands-on resources.
Entrepreneurship education is in growing demand as students seek skill diversification, autonomy, social impact opportunities, personal branding, and flexibility in a changing economy. At Quincy University, entrepreneurship empowers students to graduate ready to create opportunities—building a future where they can create a job, not just find one.
E-Club
The Entrepreneurship Club (E-Club) is active and meets weekly. Students gain real experience by starting and running small businesses, learning from guest speakers, and touring local businesses in the community. Beyond the technical steps of launching a venture, the club helps students build leadership, communication, and networking skills that carry into any career path.
