Dear QU community:
After 18 months of planning and very hard work, we are excited to announce that Quincy University has a new website. Some of you have seen the new website over the past several days, as we quietly launched the site and made certain it worked properly.
Our goal in website development has been simple: We have worked to design a site that conveys our passion for the life-changing work we do at QU. We wanted a website that would excite and inspire our community. We hope you will agree that the new site tells the QU story in a way that is engaging and authentic.
Here are some highlights of what the new site offers:
- It’s modern, clean, and easy to use.
The design feels fresh and welcoming, making it simple for visitors and community members to explore what QU is all about. - It provides for much easier site navigation.
Clear pathways, intuitive menus, and mobile‑friendly layouts mean people can find what they need without digging. - It tells the QU story in a powerful, student‑centered way.
The site highlights real experiences, real outcomes, and the values that shape campus life. - The new degree‑program search is a game changer.
Students can explore majors by interest, making it easier for students to discover the right academic path. - It reflects QU’s Catholic and Franciscan identity.
The mission, values, and spirit of the university come through clearly and authentically. - It delivers a fully mobile-responsive experience.
The site adapts seamlessly to mobile devices, making the site easy to use anywhere.
These updates will help future Hawks explore who we are and what we offer, while still supporting current students, faculty, and staff through the dedicated student portal for their day‑to‑day needs.
Our website project team included Mary C. Bergstrom and Sandy Trudell, along with outside consultants idfive and Andrew Bergstrom.
I hope all current and prospective members of our community will enjoy our new and improved website. Have a great week!
Pax et bonum,
Brian McGee
