Event Setup Assistant

Quincy University seeks qualified applicants for an Event Setup Assistant. Responsibilities include: Set up and tear down event resources, monitor events as they take place and light clean up after event completion. Supervise event set up work study students. Communication with the Facilities Department, the Events Coordinator, and event requestors to ensure proper set up and smooth operation of events.

This position is part-time 25-29 hours per week, year round.

A minimum of three years of experience working with event setups or closely related experience is preferred.  Candidate must possess attention to detail, exemplary communication skills, proven ability to meet deadlines and multi-task. Financial Aid Counselor/ Customer Service Specialist

Quincy University seeks qualified applicants for a full-time Financial Aid Counselor/Customer Service Specialist.  Responsibilities include: Serve as office customer service representative in providing financial aid counseling to prospective students and families on financial aid information, eligibility issues and required documentation, loan default prevention, and financial literacy.  In addition, this position will assist with determining eligibility, issue awards, and perform other tasks related to administration of financial aid programs. Associate degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred; general knowledge of major financial aid programs, positive attitude and excellent communication skills required.
