QUINCY, Ill. – Quincy University will host the 2023 Polar Plunge to support Special Olympics Illinois on February 26 at the QU Football Stadium.

The Polar Plunge supports more than 21,000 Special Olympics athletes across Illinois, helping to provide them with life-changing programming. Polar Plunge is hosted by Law Enforcement Torch Run.

The Plunge is Special Olympics largest fundraiser of the year. Participants must raise a minimum of $100 to participate in the Polar Plunge.

Registration will begin in the stadium at 10:30 a.m., followed by the Plunge at 12 p.m. Participants and attendees will park at the North Parking Lot of QU Stadium and use the northeast entrance to the stadium.

QU is designated as a Special Olympics Campus and the QU Sport Management program has collaborated with Special Olympics Illinois for the last 15 years. This is the second year QU has hosted the Plunge.
