Quincy University’s Music Department will host a Saxophone Day for high school students on Saturday, December 8 from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Connie Niemann Center for Music located at QU’s North Campus (18th & Seminary Rd).

The day will bring together high school saxophone players from around the area to form a saxophone choir.  Participants will spend the afternoon rehearsing music, learning about the saxophone, watching a recital and participating in a saxophone choir. Saxophone players between the grades of 9-12 are encouraged to attend.  All abilities are welcome.  The cost is free and lunch is included. The day will end with a concert at 4:00 p.m. for family and friends.
