Quincy University has announced a new reduced price local housing and meal option for students from the Quincy area. This option includes students who have a permanent residence within 40 miles of Quincy. The new option will be available for students attending QU beginning in the fall of 2020.
“Evidence shows that students living on campus will perform better in the classroom and are more likely to graduate on time,” said Brian McGee, Ph.D., QU president. “As part of our new Success by Design initiative, we want to give local students the same opportunity to succeed as their counterparts who come to us from across the country.”
In thanks to the more than $11M in support from local foundations and businesses over the past ten years, this plan recognizes the community support QU has received by giving local residents an affordable plan for room and board.
“This new option offers reduced housing and dining expenses to students who want to stay local, but get the full college experience by living on campus,” said Brittany Weise, Director of Admissions.
