Climate Change Revisited

April 2, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Climate change is occurring as it has for the four plus billion years that life has existed on Earth. There were even two periods when the Earth (Snowball Earth) was completely ice covered. This presentation will look at a number of factors, including a few you do not hear about on the news programs, which have been influencing Earth’s climate during its entire existence. The discussion will address some of the things that each of us might do as a nation, community, and individuals to slow things down (assuming we want to) without major changes in our life style.

Lecturer: Dr. Alfred F. Pogge, Emeritus Professor of Biology, Quincy University
