Dr. Megan Boccardi serves as Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs, Professor of History and Co-Director of Service Learning. She is responsible for academic advising and various special projects in academic affiars. Dr. Boccardi is a Fulbright Scholar and received the QU Excellence in Teaching Award in 2014.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Quincy University, a master’s in history from Louisiana State University, and a Ph.D. in history from University of Missouri-Columbia.

She plays cello in the Quincy Symphony Orchestra and Quincy Community Theatre and is involved with the League of Women Voters and many programs at Quincy University (such as service learning and the Study Abroad/International Committee) and leader of several clubs and organizations at QU.
