Sarah Harris

Sarah Harris '08
harrisSarah Harris, a 2008 Biology and Psychology double major, received the call from Gilson in March of her senior year at Quincy University and relocated to Boston just  a few days after graduation to get started.  Describing her earliest experience as “overwhelming”, she quickly adapted to the industry.   In addition to examining the ever-adapting technological needs of hospitals nationwide, Sarah is one of only a few responsible for gathering Pharma and Biotech data from an impressive list of distributors. Though New England clients are her primary focus, Sarah frequents tradeshows and conferences up and down the east coast all year long as a representative of the respected Gilson brand.

Realizing quickly that she missed the hands-on laboratory atmosphere, Harris applied and was subsequently offered a position as a part time lab assistant at a local college.  That college?  Harvard University.  Sarah spends most of her time doing research and collecting data which is often collaborated with that of other ivy league institutions including Duke and MIT. Sarah is currently pursuing a Masters in Biotechnology Management from Harvard.
