hanrattyIn 1985, Donald Hanratty started Optimance; a company that offers executive development and career management programs through Career Control Group services.  With a mission of saving companies time and money, Optimance strives to strategically encourage and assist clients in meeting and surpassing goals.   They pride themselves in their ability to assist companies in making the most of employee potential.

Celebrating twenty-five years in 2010, Optimance has been ranked an Inc. 500 company and Dallas 100 company for two years running.  Customers include Fortune 100, Privately-Owned and Major Non-Profit employers across the country.

Hanratty serves as the Board of Trustees Chairperson at Ursuline Academy, a Trustee of The Catholic Foundation, and a Director of The American Ireland Funds.  He donates his time and efforts to several charities including the March of Dimes and Special Olympics.  With a doctorate degree in Personnel and Guidance Counselor Education from Mississippi State University, Hanratty has authored two career books:  Career Continuation:  Make it a SNAPP and Manage Your Own Career:  Make It a SNAPP.  Effective June 1, 2010, Hanratty is also the newest addition to the Quincy University Board of Trustees.
